Hand-in-hand with husband Ryan Adams, Mandy Moore** headed to Barnes and Noble in West Hollywood on Saturday (August 4).

The 28-year-old singer-actress wore a leopard-print top with blue jeans and sneakers with a large brown bag, while her rocker hubby sported a black t-shirt, denim jacket, and jeans.

Though the "Walk to Remember" actress hasn't released a studio album since 2009, she recently told CBS News that she'll collaborate with her husband on the record. "I'm probably going to work with my husband on this album," she said. "I'm not sure necessarily in what capacity, but we've been writing a little bit together. He has a studio, so I definitely want to make my record there."

In the interim between releases, Moore says "a lot" has happened in her life to inspire her music and describes the material on the new album as "intense" and "emotional." She hopes to complete the album by the end of this year or beginning of next.
