"Parenthood" actress Minka Kelly** headed to Hollywood today (July 10th) to pick up her dog at a local pet shop.

Her pampered pooch, Chewy, tried his best to jump on his owner's lap in the store, but just couldn't quite get there. The 32-year-old actress wore a casual gray and white striped top and jeans while her cockapoo pup was pretty-in-pink in his neck bandana.

She recently gushed to People about Chewy (named after the Star Wars character, Chewbacca), exclaiming "I can't get enough of this wookie!"

You can soon expect to see the classic brunette, and avid pet lover, in "The Butler" in which she is announced to be playing former first lady and American style icon Jackie Kennedy.
