After talks began to possibly work on the project, Lindsay Lohan** has officially signed on to join the cast of "Scary Movie 5."

According to E! News, the 26-year-old actress will be joined by fellow partier Charlie Sheen** for the Dimension Films installment.

It's currently unknown which character the "Mean Girls" star will portray, but she will star opposite Ashley Tisdale** in April 19, 2013 release.

Director Malcolm Lee is teaming up and working side by side with director David Zucker, who wrote and directed the third and fourth films.
